Workshop collaboration with EVR

In collaboration with EVR, they are running a focus group with a diverse group of participants of ESEA backgrounds. The focus group will explore our community members’ experiences engaging with the media, and with shaping narratives around COVID-19 and racisms.

The outcome of the group will be the co-creation of one set of media engagement tips to support ESEA communities, as well as a set of engagement guidelines for media platforms looking to work with us. This will help advise on our suggested standards of conduct and outreach. Taken together, we aim to work toward more ethical representation and inclusion of our communities in mainstream media.
