Media Racialisation of COVID-19

This is a knowledge exchange workshop looking at the topic of media racialisation – discussing experiences of media representations of ESEAs in relation to COVID-19 and community responses to it, including how to respond to and reframe COVID racism against the ESEA community.

The workshop will be a closed session and conducted online as a discussion with 6 participants. We would like to hear about experiences of the media representations of COVID-19, how you felt about them and what motivated you to write about Sinophobia and the Media, as well as what can be done going forward in terms of reframing representations of ESEAs.
